The Center for Reproductive Science, Health and Education congratulates Professors Chris Dunkel Schetter, Julie Bower, and Annette Stanton on the five-year renewal of the Psychology Department’s NIMH T32 training grant, Biobehavioral Issues in Mental and Physical Health, effective July 1, 2026.
Now entering years 46–50, this longstanding training program provides individualized biopsychosocial research training focused on the connections between mental and physical health. The renewed grant will support three predoctoral fellows and two postdoctoral fellows each year, with trainees working alongside a collaborative network of 21 faculty members in Psychology and Psychiatry and Biobehavioral Sciences.
Over its many years, the program has supported numerous fellows who have gone on to become leaders in psychology and related fields.
